CHICAGO WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHY

Munaco Pictures covered our first wedding at Loft on Lake on 9/12/2020. When I had originally chatted with the bride and groom (Bridget & Kevin), they were quick to inform me that their wedding day would be quite unconventional, to say the least.
And was it ever!
With a lot of uncertainty surrounding the status of their wedding, given the pandemic and whatever stage we were in at the time, like many others who had a 2020 wedding planned, everything was up in the air. Thankfully, they were able to get it done and had a beautiful celebration!
Their preparations took place at the Holiday Inn at the Merchandise Mart in the heart of downtown Chicago. Bridget nailed it when it came to providing the details she wanted captured and literally provided myself and the photography team a box filled with little details.
They ordered our premium 2 videographer package - which allowed 2 cinematographers to capture both bride + groom preparations simultaneously. After prep we were hopped on an Uber, which took us to their wedding location - the top of the steps, Northside of the Field Museum. We didn't have much time to get set up, but still managed to get 2 cameras going, microphones applied to the officiant and groom, and last but not least - - we got our drone in the sky to capture it all!
Once the ceremony concluded we captured some more posed, cinematic shots around the city at a few of Bridget and Kevin's favorite locations. We finally headed to the reception location at Loft on Lake.
Tom of Essence Entertainment was extremely helpful the day of in getting our audio equipment set up in time for the reception. Bridget and Kevin planned a "Blues Brothers" themed intro to their reception and it went over very well, all made possible by Tom and his team. So if you're also in the market for a talented DJ (whose musical transitions are ALWAYS on point), I highly recommend contacting Tom!
We had also met with Jill (Venue Manager, Loft on Lake) in the weeks leading up to the wedding and she couldn't have been more helpful before and on the day of the wedding! Believe it or not, there's plenty of venues that simply forget about feeding the vendors who have been working non-stop since the morning - we didn't have to worry about that at Loft on Lake at all! Their spacious loft makes for a wonderful location to host any wedding or reception and I can't recommend it enough!
