Where are you based out of?

Our office is based on the northwest side of Chicago in the heart of Gladstone Park. We do not offer walk-in appointments, however, if you'd like to schedule a time to meet over Zoom or Facetime, please follow the link below.

Question 3

How many hours of wedding videography do we need?

Accepted Answer

When you book our services, the odds are your timeline has not been finalized yet. This is okay! I always recommend starting with our 6-hour package and as we get closer to the wedding and we have a better understanding of your timeline, coverage can always be added then. Here's how we figure that out...I recommend coverage beginning during the tail-end of preparations, roughly 1 hour before you get dressed. This time of day is less about us capturing you getting your hair/makeup done and more so about capturing important detail shots that will make their way into your film, i.e., dress, flowers, rings, invitation, flat lays, etc.Now that we know when coverage begins, lets figure out when it concludes...We usually start wrapping up after roughly 30 minutes of open dance floor coverage has been captured. Of course, if there are other formalities such as an anniversary dance, bouquet toss, etc. this could result in needing additional coverage. Additional Coverage - $250/hr (as needed)TIP - Discuss with your wedding planner & DJ ahead of time that you'd like your cake cutting and formal dances to take place at the beginning of your reception. This will significantly reduce the amount of additional coverage you'll need (if at all).

Do you provide raw wedding footage?

YES! This is something we get a lot of compliments on. Raw footage is included in our most popular package and sent out roughly 7-14 days after your wedding via digital download. Remember, these shots are raw and un-edited - full of camera adjustments, shakes, focusing and all sorts of nasty eye-sores. Rest assured, we won't include anything unflattering in your edited film(s).

How quickly will we receive our wedding video?

Estimated turnaround time for your finalized film(s) is 6-8 weeks after your wedding.REMINDER: We can't get started on the editing process until we've received your music selection. Yes, you get to choose the music for your film(s)! The quicker your music selections are submitted, the sooner the editing process can begin 🙂

How far in advance should we book our wedding videographer?

Accepted Answer

Videography is usually one of the last things booked for a wedding. Our couples tell us all the time, "we originally weren't going to get video but we've suddenly had a change of heart," or "my bridesmaid said the one thing she regretted not getting at her wedding was video." So we get a lot of last minute bookings (3 months out). With that said, I strongly recommend booking your videography package at least 9-12 months out to ensure your date is available.

I already have a photographer. Why should I book a videographer?

This is all personal preference, but when you look back on those wedding photos in 10-15 years time (no matter how beautiful they look), I promise you they are not going to move or make any sounds.So whether it's your wedding vows, a speech Dad gave that made you cry, or that dance move your cousin did on the dance floor that you had no idea he was capable of, that's all going to come across on video in a way that's just impossible with still photos alone.I can pitch you all day on why booking a wedding videographer is a good idea, but I'd rather just show you...

Who will be my videographer?

Unless otherwise stated, your videographer will be Tom Munaco. Munaco Pictures also has a team of highly skilled videographers that work with us as associates throughout the season. This way, if a second shooter is needed at your wedding or we need to cover multiple weddings on the same day, our team comes fully prepared.With that said, every wedding film produced at Munaco Pictures is edited by Tom Munaco, which is why all of our films match a specific style and level of expertise. If you like what we have demoed online, you're going to love your film even more - - guaranteed!

Absolutely! If you or any of your venues require a COI (Certificate of Insurance) just give us a holler and we'll send it your way.

Any travel exceeding 150 miles (round-trip) will be billed at $0.75/mile for the total mileage.
