Frequently Asked Questions

If you've been browsing wedding videography companies for longer than 5 minutes, you've probably already found yourself asking some of these questions...

How many hours of coverage will I need? How long of a video do I want?

Do I need more than one videographer? What exactly is RAW FOOTAGE?

It's okay if you have these questions and we'll be happy to go over it all! We've provided a list of our most frequently asked questions below.

If there's anything we didn't cover, click the link below to schedule a FREE consultation!

"WHERE ARE YOU BASED OUT OF?"

I’m based out of Chicago, but depending on the time of year I could be anywhere! Las Vegas is my second home and I shoot there regularly as well.

"MY WEDDING IS OUT-OF-STATE. DO YOU TRAVEL?"

WE LOVE TO TRAVEL! We've shot weddings in 15 states and would love to add more to the list! Hawaii please...😊

"I ALREADY HAVE A PHOTOGRAPHER - WHY HAVE VIDEO TOO?"

We get asked this a lot! Photos are great, but 10-15 years from now are you really going to remember that amazing speech your parent or sibling gave by looking at a photo? Highly unlikely - and with every White Claw consumed throughout the evening, the likelihood of remembering these little memories is significantly reduced!

Let me make it easy for you...if you're wondering if you should book a wedding videographer, watch the video below...and grab a box of tissues first.

"WHO WILL BE MY VIDEOGRAPHER? HOW MANY OF YOU ARE THERE?"

Pending availability, your videographer will be Tom Munaco. Tom has produced HUNDREDS of wedding films since 2011. If Tom is personally unavailable, another trusted member of the team will cover your wedding.

The majority of our packages only require one videographer, however, if you book our Gold Standard+ package or any of our Live Stream packages, you can expect at least two team members.

"ARE YOU INSURED?"

Absolutely! If you or any of your venues require a COI (Certificate of Insurance) just give us a holler we'll send it your way.

"HOW LONG UNTIL I RECEIVE MY EDITED FILM?"

Usually about 4-6 weeks after I’ve received your song choice(s). We made that last part bold for a reason. We cannot get started on the editing process until we've received your song choice(s).

Every film produced at Munaco Pictures is edited by Tom Munaco, which is why all of our films match a specific style and level of expertise. If you're happy with the way our demos look, you'll be happy with your wedding film - GUARANTEED!

"DO I GET THE RAW FOOTAGE?"

Yes! The majority of our delivered films are 3-5 minute highlight films. As you can imagine - a LOT of footage tends to be left out, so we allow you access to this footage just 7 days after the wedding where you'll receive a download link to your raw footage files. Remember, these shots are raw and un-edited - full of camera adjustments, shakes, focusing and all sorts of nasty eye-sores. Rest assured, we won't include anything unflattering in your edited film(s).

"DO I GET TO CHOOSE MY OWN MUSIC?"

Of course! In the same raw footage email mentioned above, we will also include some suggested royalty-free song choices we have licensed access to. Hundreds of songs are available to choose from and sorted by genre.

"DO YOU ALSO OFFER PHOTOGRAPHY?"

No...but we know some GREAT photographers so if you need any recommendations just let us know!

"HOW MANY HOURS OF COVERAGE DO I NEED? WHAT IF I NEED MORE COVERAGE?"

We've found that our team almost never spends any less than 6 hours covering a wedding. For this reason, our featured packages start w/ 6 hours of coverage (usually beginning at preparations).

Coverage usually begins about 1-1.5 hours before the wedding dress is put on.

Coverage usually concludes after about 30-60 minutes of open dancing has been captured - or after any specific reception events have been captured (i.e., garter/bouquet toss, special dances/traditions, sparkler exit, etc.)

If you think you’ll need additional coverage we can add this to your invoice before you book or we can always figure it out during our pre-event meeting before the wedding. Since timelines usually aren’t finalized until just before the wedding, we recommend securing your coverage with the standard 6 hours of coverage and adding any coverage (if necessary) as we get closer to the big day. Additional coverage is $200/hr (as needed)

TIP: If you’ve already booked your photographer for a specific amount of hours, we recommend mirroring this schedule for videography.

"CAN YOU USE THE DRONE INSIDE?"

No. BUT THE FUTURE IS NOW!

Gone are the days where aerial cinematography is limited to only exterior shots. Munaco Pictures is now offering INDOOR aerial cinematography!

No drones. No cranes. And no, we're not filming from above you atop a ladder! Ask us how it works during our consultation!

"IS TAX INCLUDED AND ARE THERE ANY OTHER FEES?"

Yes, tax is included in any pricing provided here on MunacoPIctures.com or through your invoice. The only fee that would be applied would be a travel fee in the event of travel exceeding 150 miles (round trip) or out-of-state weddings. Any travel exceeding 150 miles (round-trip) will be billed at .75/mile for the total mileage. Travel fees for out-of-state weddings vary depending on the location.

"I’M READY TO BOOK - HOW DO PAYMENTS WORK?"

If you know what package you want to go with, just let us know and we'll get a proposal sent your way. Payments are all handled directly through the contract, so after you’ve signed and secured your date, simply follow the prompt to make your deposit.

Want to save some $$?

Munaco Pictures offers a quick-pay discount when making your deposit + final payment through quick-pay services, such as Venmo or Zelle. So if you use either of those services we can take $100 off your total - easy as that!

"WILL WE CHAT/MEET BEFORE THE WEDDING?"

Yes. A Munaco Pictures team member will always reach out about 2-3 weeks before the big day to discuss your final details and timeline, either in-person or via Zoom, Skype or Facetime.
